I found this commercial for the TTS on Audi’s site. It’s cool. On a side note, I recently found out that I’m not too good at blogging.

Philly Auto Show 2009
I went to the Philly Auto Show on Sunday. It was alright, but it happened to be “Kids Day” and little children were running around everywhere. Whenever I walked up to a car, I had to make sure a small boy wasn’t sprinting across the showroom floor to jump into the driver’s seat. I didn’t get a chance to sit in a lot of cars because of all the kids crawling around, but I did see a lot.

For a long time Porsche has been my favorite car company, mostly because of the GT2. That was my go-to car whenever anyone asked me what car I’d buy if I won the lottery. Recently, Audi released the R8 (pictured left) and has quickly became a close contender. In power and exterior looks, I could go either way, but what really sets the R8 apart for me is the interior. All the cars in Audi’s lineup have great looking interiors and the R8 is no exception. It would be perfect for me to have a crazy sports car that doesn’t sacrifice the luxuries on the inside.
On the more realistic side of things, I enjoyed checking out all the other cars that Audi has to offer. Thanks to the all the little children I couldn’t get in the A5 or the TTS. I did however get to sit in the two Audis I could afford, the A3 and A4. I was really surprised by the A3, when I sat down it just felt right. The gauges looked good, I felt snug and comfortable in the seats, the steering wheel looked cool and had a sporty grip. It was basically everything I wanted in a car. I like the way it looks on the outside, but I don’t know if I am ready for a “sportback” aka “wagon”. I love the A4 but I was not completely happy with inside of the one I sat in. It might have been because it had wood trim and I absolutely hate wood trim. I think I prefer the interior of the earlier models, but I love the new LED lights in the headlamps.
Overall, I saw a lot of cars but felt rushed and annoyed by all the kids who turned the luxury sedans into playground equipment. It would have been better if I had time to really take in all the cars I wanted, but for $10 it was a cool way to spend the afternoon.
